Empowering Educators: Building Purposeful Leadership in Schools and Districts
AEA members have access to Empowering Educators, a FREE, 100% on-demand online leadership course designed for principals, assistant principals, administrators, instructional leaders and aspiring educational leaders. Facilitated by Krystal Floyd, the course offers 30 APLDS clock hours and 1 ACLD PLU credit while helping participants develop a mission and action plan to guide purposeful leadership. Spaces are limited, and registration closes September 11.

The Question-Driven Leader: Coaching Skills That Elevate Schools and Districts
Strengthen your leadership through better questions and stronger conversations! The Question-Driven Leader is a FREE, 100% on-demand online course for eligible AEA members. Facilitated by Tasha Carter, the course focuses on building trust, developing people, and making sound leadership decisions. Participants can earn 30 APLDS clock hours and 1 ACLD PLU credit while developing a coaching and inquiry action plan. Spaces are limited, and registration closes September 11.

FREE PLU Opportunity: Common-Sense Best Practices for Implementing Digital Citizenship
AEA members can take advantage of a FREE, state-approved PLU opportunity focused on helping educators build safe digital communities and promote responsible, ethical and informed online behavior. Offered in partnership with the Alabama State University Regional In-Service Center and Alabama Technology in Motion, the course includes required virtual sessions on September 15, October 13, and December 1 from 4–7 p.m.
