Education Policy and Professional Practice Secretary

Responsible To: Education Policy and Professional Practice Manager

 

General Responsibilities:

Performs all secretarial work and any other assignments as needed.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Handles all correspondence as assigned.
  2. Maintains and updates all files.
  3. Types routine narratives, form letters, and other reports. 
  4. Provides assistance and/or coordination for AEA meetings as directed.
  5. Works with committees, commissions, and other bodies as directed.
  6. Provides relief for receptionist when assigned.
  7. Receives, opens, sorts, and distributes mail and other correspondence.
  8. Handles telephone calls.
  9. Assists with day-to-day functions of the department.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Executive Directors.
