Join AEA in Gulf Shores for the 2026 Minority Leadership Training (MLT) Conference, November 6–8 at the beautiful Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama!

MLT weekend is designed to help educators strengthen their leadership skills, grow professionally, and connect with fellow AEA members from across the state. Attendees will have opportunities to participate in PLU studies, earn APLDS credit, and receive ethics training.

Registration is just $50 for AEA members and $250 for non-members. The conference also includes three meal functions: a Friday evening reception, Saturday brunch, and Sunday breakfast.

Attendees may reserve accommodations at the Perdido Beach Resort for $169 per night after completing conference registration.

On Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m., PEEHIP Wellness screenings and flu shots will also be available by appointment. Attendees can schedule an appointment upon arrival on Friday and should bring a government-issued ID and PEEHIP card.
