2024 Professional Rights and Responsibilities Conference
The AEA Professional Rights & Responsibilities Commission will hold its annual statewide conference on Friday & Saturday, April 26 - 27, 2024, at The Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center, 20I Tallapoosa St., Montgomery, AL 36104. Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the main lobby of the hotel. The opening session will start at 6:00 p.m. with a plated dinner followed by a social event. The conference will continue on Saturday with breakfast; workshops will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude with a luncheon.
As part of a new AEA initiative, the workshops associated with this year's conference have been revamped to include new ideas and a different approach to issues related to education. A Legislative Update will be given during Friday evening's General Session.
Hotel Information:
The host hotel for this year's conference is the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center, located at 201 Tallapoosa Street, Montgomery, AL 36104. To reserve your hotel room, please call 334.481.5000 using group code AEA PR&R Conference April 2024. The room rate is $189.00 plus tax. The Hotel will not accept personal checks. Remember, housing and travel are the responsibility of each participant. The "cut-off date" for the hotel reservation is Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Pre-registration fee is $35 per person and the on-site registration fee is $40.
