Black Male Educator Learning Lab

 

The Education Policy and Professional Practice (EPPP) Department invites Black male educators to participate in its Black Male Educator Learning Lab. The goals of the Black Male Educator Learning Lab are to recruit and retain Black males as members of the Alabama Education Association (AEA) and the education profession. This engaging and fun learning experience will provide Black males with the support they need to be successful. Black male educators will engage in virtual sessions throughout this school year with Learning Lab leaders Dr. Willie Shelby and David McKinney.

 

This professional learning opportunity is free for AEA members. 

 

Participation Requirements:

  • Black male
  • Current AEA Member
  • Alabama Public School Educator
  • Commitment to Completing Entire Course
