If you aspire to be an Association leader or a leader in your school and school system, then the Minority Leadership Training (MLT) Conference is for you! It will be held on November 3-5, 2023, at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama. The MLT Conference is open to ALL AEA members.
Professional Learning
This conference provides all AEA members with a fun way to learn and collaborate in engaging leadership settings. MLT sessions to be presented at this year’s conference include: Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Diversity, STEAM, Robotics, Accomplished Teaching and Equity, Creating Change through Social Justice, and more! Members will receive clock hours toward Continuing Education Units (CEU) and opportunities to begin Professional Learning Unit (PLU) studies at the conference.

Registration Information:
The MLT Conference registration fee is $50 for AEA members and $250 for non-members. After October 31, the registration fee is $100, and is only available on-site. Conference registration fees are non-refundable.
While there are no scholarships available for this conference, local Associations are encouraged to assist members with participating. Several local Association leaders are encouraging members to carpool and share hotel rooms to defray the cost of participating in the conference. They highly encourage colleagues around the state to do the same.
