AEA is working closely with the Alabama State Department of Education and Alabama Department of Public Health monitoring information for our members, students, and staff. The best place to find accurate, up-to-date information is the Alabama Department of Public Health's website. The Alabama Department of Public Health has also established a call center to address questions from the public about COVID-19. Canceled AEA Conferences

 

  • The Professional Rights & Responsibilities (PR&R) Conference scheduled for April 3-4, 2020 in Huntsville is cancelled.
  • Face-to-face Alabama Aspiring Educators Conference and Future Teachers of Alabama State Conference will not be held. Plans are underway to host virtual conferences instead. Stay tuned for details. 
  • AEA Summer Leadership Conference scheduled for June 18-20, 2020 is cancelled.
