Alabama Education Association, through its Human and Civil Rights Division, is hosting its annual Minority Leadership Training (MLT) Conference on November 4-6, 2022. This dynamic conference provides excellent professional and leadership learning opportunities for members seeking leadership positions in the Association and the education profession and is open to ALL AEA members. This year’s event returns to an in-person experience featuring dynamic speakers, special guests, and super prizes! The conference will begin on Friday, November 4, with the opening night’s conference kick-off. Saturday’s sessions will feature a full morning of social emotional learning (SEL), social justice in education, cultural competence, PLU sessions, leadership, teaching and learning, a mock delegate assembly, and other areas of interest for all AEA leaders. Sunday will be a day of mental health and wellness and self-care. See you at the beach!
